Hazelden's Lifelines: A Suicide Prevention Program.
Yukon is implementing Lifelines across the district in collaboration with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS).  This program helps to educate administrators, faculty and staff, parents and students on the facts about suicide and their respective roles.  The primary objective of the program is to help everyone in the school community recognize when a student is at potential risk of suicide, and understand how and where to access help.  For more information about this program go to http://www.violencepreventionworks.org/public/lifelines.page or contact Tracy N. McKeown, Student Assistance Program Coodinator at 405-354-6692 X 2731.
